As we see the last decade flash before our eyes, we have seen the rising and falling of genres that have made a major impact on a generation of metalheads across our fine lands.
I find however that these last few years in our last decade has produced some memorable and fine upcoming bands and solo artists that keep with the traditions of what has been the backbone of this age of metal music.
The ever-growing label Rottweiler Records has just announced that former solo project – now a full fledged symphonic blackened death metal band – Symphony Of Heaven – has joined the Pack. The Pack, being the catalogue of artists that has formed since the foundations of the label in 2010. And this year, 2020, will mark the 10th anniversary of Rottweiler.
You will find some familiar faces in the line up with David Napier (TIMŌRĀTUS) on bass guitar and Mason Beard (The Bearded Dragon Productions) on drumming duty and of course the mastermind and founding member of it all, Logan Thompson. You may also find that our brother Mason is also a writer for this magazine which is simply cool stuff.
The band have just released a brand new free digital download single to kick off 2020 on the label’s Bandcamp website.
